Why do they keep showing us eggheads programmes that are at least five years old? These programmes dont even have Barry or Pat on them

I liked all your comments. burbie you are right about C.J. s hairstyles. Rolll on the new series. I wish the contestants would just answer the questions instead of beating about the bush. ' its not that place because I have been there ' and its not that one either' blah blah

Oh I agree Bobbie! It's sooooo annoying isn't it? They start by saying 'I know the answer to this one' and then waffle on...'it can't be ???? because that's ???? and it can't be ???? because that's ???? so it must be ????'. Just say the answer!!!!!!
Are they trying to pretend they are as clever as the eggheads?
And the eggheads themselves are rather irritating in the 'smugness' stakes!
Why do I watch the programme when I find it so aggravating you ask? I ask myself the same thing every day at 6.30.

Apparently the contestants are told by the producers to waffle on, don't know why, it's very annoying.

'well ....i don't think its pink because i don't remember seeing pink in the australian flag .....when i was there on my holidays in 1993......, and i'm pretty sure that there is no dayglo orange in the flag because that wouldn't be right,..... it just doesn't ring any bells with me, it doesn't 'feel' very australian..... if its orange,..... so i think i'm going to say that the main colour in the australan flag is ....ooo..... er...... oooo... blue dermot'.

I did watch it a couple of times, but i found the smugness and the waffling too much, plus CJ's eyebrows were going in all directions, found it most offputting.
