the end of sliders?

can anyone remember the sci-fi series called sliders with jerry o'connell? and if so does anyone know if they made it home in the end?

They actually made it home well before the end (when Jerry O'Connell was still in the show!). Unfortunately Quinn's Mum had oiled the gate, and when it didn't squeak he assumed they weren't on Earth Prime, so they slid out.

In the last episode they reached a world where people had been following their adventures via a man whose psychic powers had somehow tracked them. The timer is destroyed, trapping them there (not so bad as they are the subject of fan worship), but they find out that one of them can leave via a vortex. The people there had developed a virus that was deadly to the Kromaggs, so Rembrandt injected himself with it and slid...
