Do you find this offensive? Or would you imagine other people would? It was all checked and OKed by ITV but has now been cut from the show.

Clever use of words, but boring after the first 2 verses (probably because of a weak tune). Virgin Mary nude (or not) wuih a dude, being rude, that amused me.
I don't find it offensive because I'm not religious but if it's meant to be funny well, I don't find it funny either. Perhaps this sort of thing might appeal to the younger people. I'm not bothered if it's been cut from the show as I never watch JR. Don't like the bloke.
I wasn't sure if it was just because I'm not religious that I didn't think it would be offensive or if it's actually just not offensive! I like it myself; haven't seen an awful lot of Tim Minchin's stuff but have liked everything I've seen from him so far. Can understand that it's quite a specific type of thing to like though!
It's boring and un-funny. for comic songs go for Victoria Wood, Benny Hill,The two Ronnies, thats real humour, I think that Tim is a revolting looking individual, has he never heard of a comb?
Well I'm Mr Free Speech so probably not the best person to judge. I can see why the pc brigade would get on their high horse.
The problem is that the media are scared sh...less of showing anything offends race or religion. I hated the song but loved the free speech of the words.
Peter Fincham was the BBC1 controller who resigned over the A Year with the Queen series (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Year_with_the
_Queen).
Who's being controlled now?
