Is that a good thing... I didn't care for her on the programme much, and seems she has had a better offer.

hope they put someone in who knows about dance next time?
I agree, what did she know.
Cant stand her or BGT so its a win/win for me
Great news to start the new year. She is hopeless on SCD.
Question Author
HC, that's what i thought, though i had almost given up watching SCD, but did see the last few programmes and enjoyed it.
Lets have Aileen back...

Arlene would be good or maybe Karen Hardie, or Erin if she'd like to escape from competing....
Question Author
Arlene Phiilips you mean, agree, she has credentials, excellent choreographer and don't see why she was replaced.
It would appear to be between Karen Hardy and Kara Tointon.
If that's true then it should be no contest - it has to be Ms Hardy. Putting Kara in is replacing like with like.
I think that Karen Hardy would be a very good judge - she certainly knows what she is talking about - now they've just got to pension off Brucie!!
I don't watch strictly but I think it would be a mistake to put Arlene back on. That would mean the panel would be back to a group of over something's who might appear as a bit out of touch with the younger audience.

Plus Arlene just irritates me!
I just said the exact same as Rowan on another thread. Either Karen or Erin. I'm actually surprised that Erin is still competing, especially when you think about all the other professionals who have moved on. I would love to see Darren and Lilia back, they were always my favourites.
they might bring in mary ann murphy from dancing with the stars.

can you imagine ? an american on strictly. that would be absolutely ghastly, what what.
I hate cackling women (that loud false laugh) as you all know and Aleisha Dixon is one unfortunately.
Erin is still competing because her real-life partner is Anton, and the BBC has future plans for him. So Anton insists Erin stays.
I used to love Strictly but its well past its sell-by date now and I think this would be a perfect time to call it a day.

Maybe Aleisha's quiting before she gets stuck in that very slightly out of date "used to be good" programme.

Good luck Aleisha, you did your best, entertained people and got nothing but critisim. I'm no fan or BGT but its a good career move.
The panel was comprised of 2 homosexuals and a geezer who had seen better days. If it wasn't for Aleisha the balance is terrible and they needed someone more attractive and feisty.
"its well past its sell-by date now"

tv viewer ratings and an annual sell out tour would suggest otherwise.
