Anyone use this? Just checked out the website, and there doesn't seem much choice. I'm wondering if you have a greater choice and maybe more up to date films once you are registered.

There is a larger choice than you'd think but as for more up to date stuff - no.
I assume this is because the newer titles make more money as individual sales/rental titles rather than being available as part of a one fee per month deal.
I joined last week and have watched quite a few things already. For £5.99 you can't go wrong and seeing as your first month is free why not try it out?

I would but I gotta be honest, not one of the choices I saw interested me. It was the same with Lovefilm actually - I guess I've just got more choosy in old age. Ta for answering.
I just signed up for the 30 day free trial. As Mattk says the movies are not that new. But there are some really good titles on there. I also have Virgin Media and to rent one title costs around £3. So at £5.99 per month to watch as much as you want does not sound too bad.
I agree. Lovefilm's 'watch now' choice is also poor. Apparently the traditional 'over the counter' method of renting dvd's/blu rays is in decline so streaming is the way forward so the choice for newer releases will get better.

Also Netflix streams in HD with 5.1 sound (when applicable) which I don't think Lovefilm does. Quite impressive in my area as things like Iplayer and Microsoft'sZune say that my connection is too slow for HD.

I wanted Lovefilm's pay per play service over Christmas because I wasn't happy with the free to air choices. I don't watch a lot but I wasn't happy with the fact that to get it I still had to subscribe to a monthly amount - highly deceptive advertising there I think.
