Was anyone following this programme? I thought Kellie should have won - she was more organised, calmer and more positive than Terry. What do you think? Do you think T won because a) he's a man, b) it's a French VS England thing?

I don't think it's a France vs England thing as they really plugged the fact that Kellie had been out to Iraq and fought for our country.  I don't think it was because she is a woman that she lost, I think it's down to the fact that Terry cried when he saw his wife!

I agree with you though, I think Kellie should have won, I really liked Terry but felt that Kellie would have made the money go further and it would have set her future up for her.  However Jean-Christophe did say that he would always have a job for her so hopefully her dream could still come true.

Just thought I'd also mention that I think Sam and Aaron should feel ashamed of themselves, acting like a pair of loved up teenagers and jepordising Terry's chances!

Although the programme was on two weeks we saw very little of their actual food preparation or cooking.

And they never disclosed how many votes had been received for each player so for all we know, the programme makers just decided who'd win and who wouldn't.

Terry seemed the only one who had an idea what he'd do with the money, that he'd put it into a restaurant , which is what thepurpose  of the prize is. With a track record of being a caterer he has a better chance of succeeding.

I was supporting Terry because he had a real hard time of it. He was older than the rest of them and still prevailed. Both were real hard grafters by the looks of it, but Terry deserves it more in my opinion. Plus, 250k will go a LONG way further up in Newcastle than Kellie's plan for a Kent or London restaurant.

..as a retired chef I think Kelly was robbed, she was far more confident in running the kitchen, I think it was a France v England thing , Angus Deaton never stopped going on about it from day one, it was meant to be a contest between Kelly and Terry but it turned out to be a contest between Garry and JC... poor JC I really did feel for him , he was so upset when Kelly didnt win, still look on the bright side , we now have a few more Z list reality tv celebs to read about in the paper...

I was so sure from the very beginning that it was a one horse race, sadly my horse was Kellie. I don't think a reality show result has surprised more in ages. Terry was annoying, yet kellie was entertaining. Why did anyone vote for the 'rockafella' obsessed man?

My congratulations go to Angus' quips. I don't like him normally, but on this i do find him funny.

And did anyone find Aaron sexy? Female perspective please?
