On Eastenders last night Mickey brought an old computer home and managed to use a computerised voice program. Is this a built in program on all microsoft operating systems or was it just 'made up' for the soaps benefit ?

Thanks in advance.

I don't know much about talking computer programs, but it was more interesting then listening to Pauline rattle on about 'the family' or watching Sonia big moon face whinging.
it was very space age wasn't it. I think the talking computer could be the saviour for EE flagging ratings, its certainly the best actor in it by far. I can see a Michael Knight and Kit relationship emerging between Keith Miller and the PC, how exciting.
It was great wasn't it?! "dad is a snappy dresser" how can people say there is a problem with Eastenders when the script writers can come up with a little gem like this. Who's have thought Keith Miller whould learn to read with the aid of a talking computer. Hopefully we'll see more of the same tonight.
