The Brits...

I'm flabbergastered there's no Brit chit-chat going on... One Direction winning.. really..? Ed Sheeran with his creepy 'neck beard', I could go on but feel that advice re prison sentencing and wireless stuff will over-rule.. I know my place... (retreats to the naughty step)...

Im not a huge fan of Ed Sheeran's music but I think its a little sad that he is being criticised for his looks, he is afterall a singer not a model?
I was really impressed with Chris Martin's piano playing accompanying Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds on AKA What a life, it sounded great and reminded me of BT (Brian Transeau) it had a real dance feel to it, have watched a few times now! Also what happened to Bruno Mars, what a great version of his song, i was about to fast forward through it and then i heard the laid back Philly groove, the man has soul, what a pleasant surprise and my fave live performance of the night!

Hi all, here are my responses re your comments on the Brits.
I enjoyed the show, I rate Adele and agree that she is talented but for me not enough to make me want to buy her album.
Loved Coldplay and agreed that Chris Martin was fantastic playing alongside Noel Gallagher.
I agree that 'Wand Erection' won probably on the teenage votes, their stuff is fine and easy to listen to, but will they be still be around in a couple of years time?
Love the Foo Fighters and so pleased that they won an award, it is one of the few rock groups that I will definitely try to see when they are next in the UK.
I was very disappointed with Blur's performance, I always rated them higher than Oasis back in the 90's, but I am thinking of revising my opinion based on last night! Saying that I think Gorillaz is amazing though, so perhaps Damon has redeemed himself!
I agree with the comment that could not understand why artists such as kate bush and bjork etc were nominated. Nothing against them being nominated of course, but I have not heard of them release anything over the past few years, so cannot understand the nominations.
Final thought, what has happened to Duffy who was in the charts as a newcomer at the same time as Adele? I remember her winning quite a few awards one year at the Brits and being lauded as the next big thing. But she seems to have completely disappeared.
