During ITV's pre-match build up to the Champions League Final on Wednesday last, there was an item involving a 'Scouse' poet with his tribute to Liverpool's journey to Istanbul. Any idea of the name of the poet, the title of the poem and whether it has been published or is available for download?

I didn't see it but could it have been Roger McGough?  Dunno if you saw him on screen but he's middle-aged with a balding head, beard and glasses.  And definitely scouse!  hope that helps.

that would have been my suggestion too.

i didnt see it,but craig charles is a scouser and also does poetry.
