Having just watched this evenings programme my good lady said that she missed the dramatic episode when it was first shown and the subsequent repeats on Freeview when Shelly got her eye thumped.  Was it a genuine accident or did the evil Charlie manipulate the situation?

No she was going out the door as Charlie was coming in and so she genuinely had an accident
