It has confirmed something for me - I HATE this band! Its just lazy to book one band or group to do the whole ceremony, if you don't like their music there is no point in watching! I would be absolutely fuming if I had bought a ticket to be in the stadium and got this ........ gosh, when I think of all the talent we have out there to represent our country, and we get this. Where is the patriotism? The music should reflect ALL tastes not just a free TV Coldplay concert for their fans, its driving me and hubby crackers and we now have the sound switched off! But I suppose we are 60s fans!! Is anyone really enjoying it?

i didn't realise some of those songs they sang were coldplay songs, they were just background radio tunes to me, very commercial. i assume they have donated this performance?

Coldplay are great..Go and see them in concert,television doesn't do them justice.

and now, as with the Olympics, we have all this Brazilian entertainment. Why can't this wait til the Games go to Rio. This is OUR time now. Except we've wasted most of it on boring old Coldplay. Where is Alvin Stardust for Gawd's sake???/
