Why not sell it or even auction it and send the proceeds to a children's charity.

I disagree - there are plenty of ghouls out there and I'd guess they would pay good money for it for all too macabre reasons.
I was thinking it depends on the buyers you find, too.
If you can get money for a Ronnie / Reggie Kray autograph, you should have no trouble shifting a Saville scribble!

Be careful, there are lots of fakes** about.

Check there is only one 'l' in the surname.

**A person who has different personalities and acts different around other people to make themselves look good.

if i co nd my autograph book i would have it too!!

fills me with dread to think about what abuse anyone is capable of against disabled and vulnerable youngsters in a hospital etc!
*could find
it puzzzles me why so many people have waited this long to say anything, if it was only one or two i could understand it but into the hundreds????
Agree with Gina why the long wait to wipe the smile of the scumbags face.
many of the victims were very young at the time, he had celebrity, power, and enough supposed charm to make people think he was one of the good guys. raising millions for charities doesn't harm your case. However some of the top people who worked in these places like Stoke Mandeville should be ashamed of themselves if they did know what he was like and chose not to act for the sake of the cash.
I can understand the victims not saying anything at the time but people who witnessed some of the things he did should've said something.
so they should have, though a number had reported what they saw to their superiors and were told to be quiet or were not believed.
its been said he raised millions was just thinking how much of it he actually gave .What I mean it those who got benifits from his fund raising should not feel guilty as it was the publics money not JS
no one thinks that, but if some head honcho at a home, hospital, or other knew of his predilections then they are culpable. And how on earth did he get a room, office and golden keys to Broadmoor, that is beyond absurd.
Everyday there is someone coming forward with terrible stories the authorities concerned should be utterly ashamed for not acting on them. We have celebrities speaking out about goings on in the BBC why haven't they
been forceful in pursuing the truth
I can't believe they would sweep stuff like that under the carpet just because he was famous and raised money, shame on them.
The part I find hard to comprehend is the nurses who advised the children to pretend to be asleep when he came to the hospital wards so he would not fondle them. Obviously common knowledge at the hospitals then. Why did they not speak out?
