Yes, Lewis is plotting to pay Gail back for her interference in his realtionship with Audrey.
I agree with Gail becoming gaga (lol)...She's always been simpering and patronising but the writers have been trying to turn her into a humorous character and have failed miserably. She's just not a comedy actress.

Not sure about the last few months but the story about Lewis (chaptazbru) is that he is exacting a slow drawn out revenge attack on Gail (via Gloria) for splitting him and Audrey up.
