Im quite bored with it now its the only storey in corrie at the moment and it seems like its going on forever am not that bothered about watching it now, where will this storey line end? will she cop herself on or will she marry another low life.
Couldn't agree more trionam - its definitely dragging on too long.  Have lost sympathy with the situation now.
Totally agree trionam.  They do tend to do that in Corrie sometimes - drag the stories out.  I would like to see him getting some sort of comeupance at this stage.
here here really boring now and stupid.
no no no, sorry but the thing is this is how it happens, if these guys were b*stards right from the start women wouldn't stay with them, it starts slowly and gets worse. I think it's been done well and convincingly. (Though saying that, her agrophobia came on very quickly)

I think they have too many episodes to fill now and that could be one of the reasons the storylines drag on. Shelly is just a doormat to be trod on by Charlie and it seems to me that they're trying to show that love is blind and she likes it!! By the way, if i hear her whine "I love you CHHHAAARRRRLLLIIEEE" i'm going to scream.

I told you i'd do it, so here goes "AAAAAGGGGHHH AAAAGGGGHHHH", ,,,,,,,,, there, that's better.

BOORRRIIINNNGGGG    charlie should give her a slap she bloody deserves it .

( now obviously im saying that just because its a program, i wouldnt advise that a man slap a woman in real life.) so  please dont anybody start giving me a hard time.

I'm in the minority here then.  I think it's a fab story line, I think it's good because you do see both sides and even tho you know he's an evil git Charlie even makes me feel like he's right (it's ok I do realise it's TV).

Agree with mycatis though about the agrophobia - where did that come from?  And can't someone wait outside her room til she needs the loo?  She must have to leave to wash/ make food?

But I do think it's great, I don't think it's being dragged out I thnk it makes it even more brilliant when probably eventually does give her a slap and she sees the light...... or will she?

Although I'm not a big Corrie fan, I've watched it 'cos my wife does, and I think the story has been handled really well.

Charlie is a seemingly OK bloke who thinks he's always right; he's shown as a human being rather than a Panto villain (I mean You, Trevor off "Eastenders"!)

Shelley wants to think the best, but deep down it's causing her mental anguish.

As for it being dragged out, it can go on a lot longer in real life before either side seeks help for their situation/behaviour.
