i loved ELO
Sorry, can't do you a link from here, Google ELO, the Wikipedia page is a good one.
I thought Mr Blue Sky had been re-released not too long ago...

It was definitely in an advert...
Fab band. I knew Bev Bevan when I was growing up (and Jasper Carrott). The broke up, reformed, broke up.
Some members formed The Move 2, others had an ELO spin off,
Jeff Lynne was part of Travelling Wilburys - worth a listen as Roy Orbison, Bob Dylan, George Harrison and Tom Petty were also involved.

I know Bev has a radio show on Radio West Midllands
I loved Evil Woman and Mr Blue Sky reminds me of being snowed in at school. I don`t know what happend to Geoff Lynne but one of the band members lived in Devon (I think) and he was driving along a road one day when a wrapped bale of hay rolled down a hill and killed him.
That was Mike Edwards. He was in ELO at the start, playing cello, for three years.

JEFF Lynne gets a bit miffed when called Geoff.
But I seriously don`t think he`s reading this, do you? :-)
ha lol.

I was watching the programme earlier and when his first record was released it had G Lynn as the writer, he was quite unimpressed.
