I just feel that the story lines have really gone down the drain over the last six months. The Kat and Alfie story line was dragged out far too long and I lost interest. Derek's death was dull. The young characters like Fat Boy and Poppy are a waste of space. Ian is not in the storylines enough.

How does everyone else feel?

Yes, it is a pity people are tied to a chair and forced to watch it.

Unfair they have no chance to go and do something else when they are forced to sit and watch Eastenders.

I agree. It's crap!
I was utterly disappointed with the Kat/Alfie story line. It was obvious it was Derek, but they could have made it much more dramatic. The way Alfie just did NOTHING was pathetic. What a wimp! What a wet weekend! Seriously.
Max's wife turning up was also rubbish. I had read two other "spoilers" on the internet, which would have been fantastic story lines, but turned out to be red herrings.

Fat Boy does my head in, Poppy is the drip that never dropped.

The only characters I like are Tanya, Kim (although she's starting to annoy me) and Joey... although that's not for his acting abilities.

I think it's good... Then again I don't watch it religiously anymore. I see it maybe every two weeks or something and irritate my mum the whole way through by asking what's been going on! Lol!

Oh and I agree about Joey! Pity he's bumpin uglies with his cousin eh!! Haha!!

LOL Watching e/e is the only time i get to listen to shouting and bawling!!!
It makes a nice change in this house haha

Erin, haha. I read a "spoiler" just before Christmas that said it was going to come out that Derek was Lauren's DAD, making them a bit more than cousins! Eekk!

I like it and watch it all the time. Yes it's depressing, yes the death of Derek was disappointing, yes I'm annoyed they can't let Alfie be happy for 2 minutes, yes I wish they would tie Lauren's hair back and yes Max looks like a ginger lizard. It's a bit of escapism for me where for 30 mins (or more if you add in Emmerdale and Corrie) I don't have to think about anything. Bliss!
