That one was less experimental and more archeological and document based.
That started off from the premiss that the hydrogen flame is blue and not yellow and so should not have triggered the silver on the black and white film
they then dug up some of the covering from whatsit field and found the canvas really did have anti-static covering - aluminium powder. whoops !
and incinerated the canvas burned with a yellow flame
so everyone was looking happy until the last scene
when someone said - we have the confidential report on the file in German from 1938 and it says..... it must have been the covering.
The room fell silent.

in today's prog when the 8 y old reported the blue flame I thought they were all gonna say - obvious hydrogen flame - it is what is expected if it catches fire........ but they didnt

The answer wasn`t broadcast on here anyway. I read about the St Elmo`s Fire conclusion in the newspaper the other day. Haven`t watched the programme yet but I did record it. Did you see the programme about the Munich air crash on Monday? That was interesting. Took 10 years for the truth to come out.
