Honeysuckle (Lonicera spp.) is the common name applied to over 170 species of twining evergreen vines that are known for the fragrant, white, pink or yellow trumpet-shaped blossoms that they produce continuously throughout the spring and summer. Honeysuckle is suitable for cultivation in U.S. Department of Agriculture plant hardiness zones 4 through 10. In ideal growing conditions and when provided with suitable cultivation requirements, honeysuckle vines can live for up to 20 years.
