Uplifting Films

When I was going through depression a few years back I watched Hot Fuzz several times. It took my mind off my problems so I guess it was uplifting for me.

All easy to watch, great music and you watch the end credits roll with a good feeling.

Amelie always makes me feel good as does Dirty Dancing, The Sweetest Thing, 27 Dresses and The Ugly Truth. There are probably a couple more that I can't think of at the moment.

I would agree re Mamma Mia but the singing in it, ESP by Pierce Brosnan, is truly awful. I assume that was intentional, but it spoils the movie for me.
