The whole thing is utterly unreal - which is why it's called 'Reality Television'.

The object is to edit cleverly, and present people in the light the producers wish to project onto people - so the numpties have all their most ridiculous statements and gurning faces collected over a few days, and chopped together into a ninety-second montage of utter vacuous horror that makes the watching nation want to evicerate them with a blunt spoon.

Meanwhile, the potenail winners are cast in a more gentle light with its thousnad watt 'hindsight' bulb illuniating their progress through to victory.

It's just TV - it doesn't have to mean much, and in shows like this - it never does.

Ah yes, the yearly gathering of charlatans, shysters, bullsh1tters and vainglorious eejits has begun.
Those who are supposedly 'experts in their field', "I've been doing this for ten years, that's my field of expertise blah blah blah" given meaningless tasks that generally tend to find them woefully inadequate, would be out of their depth in a car park puddle and providing Walter Mitty-esque excuses as to why they failed.

Having watched the Dara O'Brian follow-up it's clear that Sophie is far too nice to be in it. She's had a lucky escape relatively early on.

It's a dreadful programme now, almost as if they pick people for their loudness and arrogance. I used to love the Apprentice - I can't bear this series.
