28 days later - empty streets

ive posted on here before about how amazing the scenes are in central london where the streets are all deserted but after talking about this with a mate was left thinking......why ?!

there are thousands of infected around so why do they choose to hide ? can anyone remember a reason ?

Umm, maybe I'm reading the question wrong but I saw the film and thought they were hiding so the infected didn't find them?

Wasn't there some association with light and night and day?

There didn't seem to be any around until it got dark. Also when they drove through the tunnel they were fine until there was no sunlight in the tunnel.

Maybe I'm wrong, long time since I watched it - superb film though

u might have something there happy face.i seem to recall the woman saying how they can only move around in daylight.
