She's off !
Well....I'm exhausted after that !
She's not leaving until January. Such good acting from Roy. :'(
Gosh that was a difficult episode to watch. Poor Roy, how we all felt for him, that must be so hard to hear from a loved one. Not sure that I agree with this storyline being aired though, it could tip some people right over the edge and think its ok to take your own life "because Hayley says it is"
Yes I agree, Roy is just brilliant, it doesn't seem like he is just acting at all, he is really living this storyline - I do hope he gets an award.
Roy is a brilliant character he deserves to be recognized for his contribution to The Street one of the best characters ever. The topic is sad and the storyline believable but will be controversial with Hayley's wishes to die when she wants to many people will empathise with this dilemma.
The actor who plays Roy could certainly teach a few others a thing or two about acting. Brilliant and heart wrenching.
Ah stop it Hayley.
Brilliant acting from both. I have long thought David Neilson has never got the recognition he deserves
how did fizz and tyrone get into the cafe after roy left, the latch on the "yale lock "was dropped as he went out,
hope roy gets recognized in the awards this year and not before time
I watched the whole two episodes with tears pricking at the back of my eyes and then when Hayley burst into tears in Fizz's arms at the end, I just let go and boy did I cry !!! Just goes to show the calibre of the acting to bring out such emotion in a viewer. Julie and David for awards at the next soap awards show - there's no justice otherwise! God, the acting was brilliant. I love Fizz too, I think she displays emotion so well.

God knows what sorts of wrecks we'll be when Hayley actually des .....
When this storyline started to come out I watched it now and again but have pulled away from it altogether as I have 3 friends going through it right now . How are they feeling (friends) watching it as I am sure they are. It is too long and drawn out for people watching it. Makes me very sad.
by the way I am digressing - I heard Hayley was leaving to be with her family. Now I could have googled it and found out more. Surely you leave to be with a young family but I think her children are grown up.

I don't believe that is her real reason to leave.
I agree David Neilson is brilliant as Roy and his performances are so moving but the actress who plays Hayley is about as subtle as a brick. There is no way she can deliver such a huge storyline. Would have been better having her run over by a bus IMHO. She will be no loss to the show..thank god Roy is staying though.
Waiglet, You're all heart !!!
I agree with waiglet about Hayley and the bad acting, but looking at Ann's comment from last night 21.13 p.m., I just have to say taking one's life because of illness was used not that long ago on emmerdale when the guy in wheelchair asked Aaron to assist him take his life.
Haley is not asking for assistance, she is asking for understanding.
connemmara i am with you you on this
I know she's not asking for assistance, I was just comparing a storyline from emmerdale where the guy looked for assistance as he was paralysed and couldn't do it himself - it's suicide whatever form
Didn't help Ethel die in Eastenders?
