I'll only join if Gareth is in charge.....I can't sing but for him....well.... ☺
Didn't exactly say I could sing. Am an alto though.
I never watched the original series, mainly because I think the idea of women being in a choir simply because their husbands are soldiers is too tenuous to be interesting, and the hype that came with it was hard to avoid.

So I won't watch this one either, but it will be very popular, and that's all good.
The military wives series wasn't the first one - he did a coupe before then. One was done in a "challenging" school with great success
Couple* ......... Of course I don't think he ever did a coupe lol
I enjoyed the earlier ones where he got schoolchildren from schools with no tradition of music to take part in a choir....it was a pleasure to watch the kids blossom....especially the boys....But then I love anyone who enthuses children.
Right, at the moment we have The Four Degrees. Any men interested?
Just starting now BBC1
Yes, we do, we like them - anything's better than all these interminable dancing and cooking programmes.
Lol @ orange fuzz.
BBC2 actually....
Or SCD ?
Yes !
As long as we keep getting celebs doing everything under the sun then yes, we do need another choir with ordinary people.
According to the TV mags, Terry will be surrounded by the usual BBC bimbos- Zoe Ball, Tess Daly and the dire Fearne Cotton. I shall not be watching.
