Have to say I'm very disappointed that Andy isn't there.
I like him as a sports personality and cheered as loudly as anyone else when he finally got the monkey off his back this year but I can't excuse his absence.
Were he in the middle of a tournament then fair enough, but I'm sure he could take 48 hours out of his training schedule when he's odds on to win it.

I'm now hoping Froome gets it, he's just as deserving IMHO.

Andy is a professional, the Australian Grand Slam is not far off so I dont blame him at all. His career is much more important than a two minute slot on TV

Maybe but 2 long haul flights after recently having back surgery is maybe not worth the risk for a professional sportsman.

I want Murray to win it. He's only just got back to training after having surgery and I'm sure he'll have taken advice before deciding not to attend.
Anyone had a go at Mo Farah for not attending?

Another notable absentee presenter is John INVERDALE. Wonder if Marion Bartoli would have showed up had he been present.

Despite a great year though, I don't believe Farah is the hot favourite.
Would have been nice to see the (probable) winner there to take the accolades and plaudits in front of such a crowd.
He's certainly earned it!
