no, not just you...deeply boring and childish.
My wife finds it hilarious. I find its attempts at humour very stained, and the reliance on swearing should be quite unnecessary. Boring!
On the other hand. I find Monty Python highly amusing whilst Mrs. G- has never understood the humour.
Each to their own, I guess.
i love this programme and if you don't theres an off button .
Why watch something you find to be offensive? Turn it off. Mrs Brown was the most watched programme on christmas day. Beating that deeply boring and farcical Downton Abbey, to name one.

I know there's an off button and it should be on Mrs Brown "Button It"
I must say, I do like it but I can understand that it isn't everybody's cup of tea.
It's crude, obvious, schmaltzy and I should hate it ...

... but I don't, it tickles some obscure funny bone deep in my psyche and I like it a lot.

The Christmas edition was dire though, the New Year rather better, but both well below par.

PS - avoid at all costs the live DVDs - they are shockingly poor - under-rehearsed, am-dram level, rubbish.
I am with you carib. I did use the off button.
My daughter can't understand why I love this programme....she can't stand it but then she grew up in a half English family which gave her some normality .....I didn't.....☻☻☻

It may have been the most watched programme on Christmas Day but had no competition as Christmas viewing was rubbish!
Coarse, vulgar, and cheap. Yuk!
I think it's appalling - after seeing a few minutes when it was first aired, we turn off when it comes on these days.
Marmite TV - very few people are ambivalent about it. Who falls which side of the divide is quite random too.
Its certainly not prim and proper and it is close to the bone. I used to hate it but it grew on me.

Its somewhat liberating I suppose and I think they only have one swear word!.

Cathy can never keep a straight face. (she has a cruel part -it cant be easy calling your other half Mammy all the time )
The Krankies managed it for years, working together - that must have been very odd.
Love it, very funny imo.
About as subtle as a brick in the face!
It's awful.
That cross-dressing guy should have his mouth washed out with soap and water.
