I enjoyed it more than I was expecting to. Not easily offended, but must admit I turned it off. Had enough of bad language having watched Mrs Brown's Boys.

Nan was the funniest thing I've seen on TV in years, it made tears stream down my face - partly because she was the spit of my nan. There will always be someone offended whatever you poke fun at.
I enjoyed it too, and people need to chill. I must say people always want to complain about things, these shows are a laugh to watch.....even citizen khan gets slated for what they come out with, but i think its just comedy. Take it or leave it, as long as they don't make jokes out of disabled people.
Are disabled people allowed to make jokes out of disabled people?
I might be in the minority but I loathe it. I don't like Catherine Tate in general, and Nan is really unpleasant. I wouldn't watch it.
Did a disabled person make a joke of a disabled person....am i missing something?
I suppose these days people are allowed to do what they want.
You don't like her boxy? what a ****** liberty :-)
not offended but I don't watch...not my thing. its a pity, I think she is an excellent actress and was amazing as Donna in Dr Who.
Missed it, when was it on?
I thought it was a load of s h i t! Don't like Catherine Tate at all but each to their own.
really funny :)
Loved it, thought it was hilarious. The things she gets away with. I'm sure a lot of people would love to be able to say similar things and not bat an eyelid.
I absolutely loved it, especially the way she spoke to that poor little schoolgirl, who by the way was excellent. Hope it's repeated.
Had a crack at watching this last night and couldn't sit through the whole thing, I just found it really boring and predictable. Didn't think it was offensive though.
Like so many other things people get offended about in the media one has to realise that lots of people's Nans are of an era when they do think and behave like this. In fact away from the written word a huge amount of the population of many ages still have racist or offensive opinions. If you don't believe me join me for a ciggy at my work's smoking shelter.
I love it, she reminds me of my Mum! She doesn't swear like that but she is just as outspoken.
