Just realised I have not watched yesterdays episodes yet! Charity has been horrible thru the whole thing.. so much for Dingles sticking together!

i am thoroughly sick and tired of the declan, charity framing Sam storyline. ive stopped watching it

Emmerdale like Coronation Street was fine when it was on twice weekly, the story lines now drag on and on and just get so boring and long winded they are pathetic. Producers cannot think of new story lines to keep the soaps interesting anymore.

If they cut back on the soaps we're probably only get more reality shows.
Good point though being on 5 nights a week you can't have good stories all the time.

Agree & I dont like what they are doing to it ..the wrong move with a character like Charity and its never the same, she has never had it this bad (a shame for her).

The characters are dwindling.
My suggestions -
Paddy - a kick in the head from a horse and forgets everybody & everything including his vet stuff, child, wife but he can drive! and cant be kept away from the butchers.
Zack - disappears & never returns (Dingles need the police!)
Rhona - leave her alone
Cain - befriends a Scientologist in secret and has character transformation and dresses differently.
Charity - takes revenge on her bank for no reason - logic not necessary but it will keep her busy for a long time.
Declan - develops an eating disorder
Jay gives Sam a job - carer for Declan who isn't himself.

Anyway..
Re Cain - what do you find attractive about him? His hair?

Agree with everyone. The most ridiculous storyline ever. Okay, actress who plays Rachel wanted to leave, but ANYONE could come up with a better , more plausible storyline.

My suggestions

Ashley becomes a Hells Angel
His ex missus goes on the game
Cain has a sex change operation
Charity becomes a priest and goes on to become a bishop
Rachel leaves and becomes an ITN newscaster
Paddy takes over from Paul Hollywood - who takes the role of Roland the Rat Vet
The lesbians split up and each gives birth to quadruplets, Sam being the father
Angel grows up to be a sex pervert, Nicola gets a makeover that goes wrong, the surgeon putting boob silicons in her butt. Jimmy takes on the role of village ijiut rather than numpty.
Jay and his family move to Notlobistan to take over the Manchester Evening News
The hotel becomes a brothel, Victoria as chief madame, Belle as the ho, along with Valerie, who sets herself up as Mrs Pain
The Inn comes under the management of Moira and opens as a milk bar
Andy Sugden becomes a brain surgeon
Rodney becomes a Police Inspector
and Carl re-enters as a risen-again Jesus.

Yep - really ridiculous. Actors/actresses should not be allowed to leave at a moments notice they should be tied in the soap for years. Poor Sam, every girlfriend he has either dies or leaves him, I thought he and Rachel made a lovely couple and a nice little family. What will happen to him now? Please no more storylines about the Rhona and her flipping drugs. Do you think the new lady vicar and Ashley are going to get together? Where is Andy Sugden, I hope he has done a disappearing act! Is Val going to be HIV? was she ever tested?

Not so much boring...but in an attempt to give us more hard hitting story lines Emmerdale has become less entertaining and more irritating with it's dragged out issues keeping us all waiting for the soap land justice or conclusions.
