Have watched Emmerdale (Farm) ever since it started but the storylines are ridiculous and go on too long.Not a violent person but feel like smacking Charity's face every time she appears lol The police are just like the ones in Coronation Street were-nuff said.

I think problems arise for the writers when an actor/actress announces they want to leave. Then they have to come up with a story line to write them out. Consequently we have Sam/Rachel in Emmerdale and Peter/Tina in Corrie. Totally unbelievable storylines which make the characters act so "out of character". Corrie are also doing it well with Hayley, but she probably gave more notice.
