And to each others belongings too according to one of it's residents.
i haven't watched this, it's had some pretty negative press, which i guess is no surprise
with all the cutbacks will they make another series called desolation street
or some might call it easy street.
//with all the cutbacks will they make another series called desolation street//

Hopefully, with all the cutbacks, there won’t be anyone at home to film. They’ll all be out working for a living.
doubt that will happen, the little snippet i did see, most would be unemployable

what will you do with the sick stick them in a workhouse
if any are sick they wouldn't be working, but are those featured in the programme sick?
DrFilth, I haven't seen anyone on there who is really sick. Who are you talking about?
sorry emmie i don't watch telly but from what i have read and heard they are not all having a great time

let us not forget they have been given some fags and booze by the film team make good viewing for the mugs that think you get everything for free
They do get everything for free. Who are the mugs?
forgive me if i am wrong naomi but the article i read mentioned some names and said they were on the sick

fancy that having a smoke and a beer while on the sick, well i never
Some of them are 'on the sick', but they're not too sick to do what they want to do. One of them has never worked a day in his life but he manages to go shoplifting!
must be light fingered with light items
The members of the undeserving poor who flaunt their fecklessness and seem almost proud of their idle lives deserve a good whipping.
A job in return for their benefits would be a better option.
naomi does that include the sick

a simple yes or no answer please
Some of the sick may be unavble to do any work at all but I am sure some of the sick could, or would welcome, the opportunity to contribute something in return for their benefits. White-Dee seems very capable to me, and could for example work part time in a CAB on her good days
DrFilth, no, it doesn't include the genuinely sick.
"White-Dee seems very capable to me, and could for example work part time in a CAB on her good days "

Hopefully not in charge of their funds though ;-)
