i do sometimes and always amazed when some take the minus offer.
seeing as how the other contestants may have banked quite a bit of money,
i know that it's shared out if they win.

To get a big offer, you need to do well in the cash builder, or in the words of the chasers, you need to earn it.
If you do badly in the cash builder, you'll get a poor offer ...... do well in the cash builder and you'll get a higher offer.

the bloke on tonight went for the minus offer yet went into the final chase and got 11 right answers together with the 3 headstart left the 2 others to get only 9 right. So not so thick then.

didn't say he was thick, but if he was that good he could have taken the cash builder money, and likely got through with that, so more money for them all to share.

Taking a bit of a swerve here, wouldn't it be good to see the Chasers as a team take on the Eggheads?

How bad is it when they take a minus figure but profit by other people's work in building up the cash? I would be livid and noticed others have been too and don't blame them. Face up to it or get out IMO I loathe it when people take a minus offer despite them getting back to enter the final....shows what some people can be like!

I don't think anything could make me take 9 grand off the other two, I also always hope they lose even if it was tactically correct.

i do think it unfair that if they win, he benefits by a huge amount.
