I'm fed up with\all the story lines atm, including the ludicrous way Peter is supposed to be behaving. I did notice that nearly everyone had had their hair coloured or styled at Audre'ys (not!) tonight-Gail,Sally,Marie (in spite of her troubles) Leanne and of course Audrey herself :o) I suppose they have to take our minds off the storylines somehow -rosy
I don't like the gay/lesbian story lines at the moment. It's not just me either. Would you let your kids watch it? I certainly wouldn't. Don't tell me it's the real world, maybe where some live but not where I live. I know it happens but IMO should not be shown at 7.30pm. I think/believe the producer is gay maybe that's the reason. I still think it should not be shoved in your face.
How many gay people really complain about "straight" relationships being "shoved in their face"? And yet in a way it's the same thing. Nothing wrong with a storyline about a lesbian couple -- and the idea that it shouldn't be shown before the watershed is a bit bizarre. Kissing shouldn't be divided into a man and a woman "fine" and two of the same gender ("no, take it away!"). Either, or neither, should be screened before the watershed.
I can understand the objections, I suppose -- but I don't agree with them. The idea that two women kissing is porn but a man kissing a woman isn't is bizarre. The idea that straight relationships can be paraded about all over the place, but gay relationships must be kept hidden, is also bizarre.
