On the One show tonight they had a number of gay couples who were getting married this weekend. There was one lesbian couple, they were both dressed as men and had short back and sides hair cuts. Whu would they do this?
Not being homophobic just curious.

Got a mention, of sorts, earlier Caran,

If this works...

it was discussed earlier.
Very odd - both being dressed as men, would have thought one would have been a female type person and one more masculine. Waiting to hear an explanation. Very interesting question, Caran.
Maggie Smith did this throughout Death on the Nile (1980)
and no one turned a hair.

Feel better dressed as men.

One of my neighbours routinely puts people like Lennox Lewis to flight.
They only look like LL. scary.
I make sure I say Good Morning sir to her
Hmmm. Had a look at the other question and answers and now I understand more.
I think the answer given by Jackthaht on that other thread @ 13.21, sums it up perfectly.

//I've posted this elsewhere before.....but....
a) both 'feminine' females
b) both 'masculine' females.
c) one 'feminine' the other 'masculine'.

In group a) both girls have got what they were looking for.
In group b) both girls have got what they are looking for.
In group c) both girls have got what they are looking for.

And I'll think you'll find that none of these groups require any sort of input or validation from heterosexual men, or women.//

And she should know.
apologies to Jack - Jackthehat ^^
I don't think anyone asked for any sort of validation - or suggested any be offered. They were just trying to understand.
That is a quote from another thread and the end sentence may well not be relevant here I understand.

Very helpful input from mamya, as always.
In my view people generally dress to suit themselves.
If it sits wrong I will ask for its removal - sorry.
I realise that - and I've posted something in a similar vein to what I've written here on that other thread.
Good luck to all of them whether it be wife/wife, husband/husband making it legal at midnight and all the attention it's getting it makes it a freak show
Mamyalynne, I don't understand why you're apologising to Jack. She wrote it and there's nothing wrong with you re-posting it. I'd missed that on the other thread - and if it encourages understanding it's helpful. Thank you.
I spelled her name wrong.
I don't think she'll mind too much. :o)
nah :-)
I don't know why we have to be so intrusive as to be concerned about what gay people wear.....it really is odd and a bit scary...and what is there to understand?

I always wear black....no one wonders why....no-one feels the need to understand why I always wear black.....maybe because I'm not gay.
