He has the beginnings of Alzheimers this is why he's become so forgetful etc This is how it happens in the books.

Such a different format to our usual detective programmes. I just love the dour seriousness of the Swedes.

The series has been excellent so far but knowing the ending and having read the book I'm feeling uneasy with it. Krister plays dishevellment so beautifully.
