Find Sarah Millican funny, an oxymoron if ever I heard one!

Jimmy Tarbuck always made me uneasy.

is he dead?
I don't recall Tarby ever claiming to be a fifth beatle. He admittedly got on the from Liverpool bandwagon of the time, but that was circumstantial rather than design.

I can remember seeing Jimmy Tarbuck appearing on the Ocean Revue theatre on Clacton Pier in the 1960's. He was very very popular.
He just used to wear the same suits and had the same hurrcut

Used to find sarah millican a little funny to start then soon found that you've heard it all before.
I had recorded this show. When she came on I fast forwarded it. Can't understand a word she says.
Jimmy Tarbuck is a 70 year old comedian doing a seventy year old act. I wonder too, was he ever funny. No wonder today he only appears in the lower grade of theatres
Sarah Millican funny? No way is she even the least bit amusing.
gollob, yes, old Tarby is a one trick pony. He has the one act and it's the same one he's been trotting out for years. I never thought him funny in the first place though.
Didn't really watch it, but did 'down tools' to watch these guys, they were brilliant!

I don't watch anything she's on normally, I think she is so unfunny and yet my friend raves about her!
Tarby certainly "died" last night on the Palladium show. He was on stage for just a few minutes, thankfully, cracking the same gags he used there 50 years ago. as for Art Garfunkel, the star act, words fail me. He attempted to sing "Sound of Silence", he failed.

The stars of the show were, for me, the couple who had been at the London Palladium 58 years ago when they married. They were put in the Royal Box and between each act the box was adorned with flowers or decorations until you couldn't see them.

Next week's star act is to be Neil Diamond. I trust he'll do better than Art.
This show is well past it's sell-by date.

Original fans probably don;t want to see the likes of Tarby again, modern viewers don't seem to like Sarah Millican in this set-up - best to can it.

I hope he does better than he did on Graham Norton last Friday, he had no personality, and says he's going to tour UK next year.

Why don't these people just retire like everybody else?
My Grandad wanted to see this as he said he soemtimes had seen it years ago, so we started to watch it, got as far as Jimmy Tarbuck and he said ' Fer chrissakes turn this *** off'.lol.
