Why are people allowed to blatantly plug their books on the BBC .
Regularily on BBC breakfast they will have a guest at the end of the programme and 95% of the time that person will just have had a book published .
It's almost embarrising to hear them constantly referring to ' my book '
' in my book , the ...... '
There is one particular radio 4 programme , where all the guests on it have recently had books published
Why are the the publishers allowed this free advertising ?

The only time that celebs will appear for free is when, in lieu of payment, they're allowed to promote their book, film, album, etc.
