I have just realised the woman with the long dark hair is his wife in the present day and the one with shorter hair is his wife back then! Is it any wonder I have been confused, and it finishes next week.
What was in the envelope at the end? Does anyone have a clue.
Roll on next week to put me out of my misery.

It wasn't a coin as such. When the hotel owner was telling Tony about how she had been 20 years sober she showed him the same coin/button. I THINK she said she gets one every year of sobriety, but I'm not sure. So when Tony saw it and knew who it belongs to he either meant her, or someone else who he knows has been alcoholic.
Spoiler alert. Near the beginning of last night's episode there is a flash image of Ollie running up the hotel corridor in his yellow scarf which is so quick you can't see it properly so I paused it. He is carrying a key in one hand with a dangling fob/coin keyring. In the other he is carrying his soft toy. He stops at door No 7 and hits on the door with the toy. His parents were opposite in No 6 weren't they? Plus Tony's wife stops and gazes at No 7 before going into No 6 when they return and have a row. Think that was 2009 when the second boy went missing. I wasn't watching him the first time but the hotel owner is very shifty if you watch it again and Tony follows him into that little smoking room as though he thinks so too.
You have to go to digitalspy.co.uk and go to the forums... loads of chat about this programme, and lots of theories.
