Nice to see decent acting for a change, anything with Sarah in is usually excellent, I think Derek Jacobi & Anne Reid also play their characters perfectly.

I agree too, the best to come out of Coronation Street ! I think the casting for this drama is spot on. Brilliant cast and acting. Can't wait for the next episode.

As i said last week, each character brings something to the party. Not a single one of them is wasted, which is testament, of course, not only to a great cast but also a superb script.

Wonder what they have in store with the kooky nanny?

Gary's wife hinted at something when they were all together at the dinner table in the last but one episode -she said something along the lines of 'Well Gary will take charge like he always does' I think he has mental problems very manipulative, he 's quite scary,can't wait to see how that one evolves. The only thing that spoilt it for me last night were the 'ghost scenes' -totally unnecessary in my opinion.

Yes, I thought the acting and the script were outstanding last night.
I know they are stuck with the ad breaks but I think Last Tango knocks Broadchurch right into touch.

The nanny mystery do something as on the trailer for next week the baby ends up with the police! What's the betting that Gillian's 'secret' come out, or Gary has a meltdown at the wedding?!
