I`m enjoying it. I did wonder about the significance of the gold bangle on the (Anglo Indian) child Adam`s wrist that was noticed by Ralph. I wonder if it will turn out that he is the father.

Think it's going to be a case of, get to the last episode and will be a complete let down.

It is being hailed as a smash hit by Channel Four and they have commissioned a second series don't think I'll survive the first series!

I really,desperately want to watch and understand this series but am getting rather confused and despondent. My mem sahib says there are too many characters in this series which makes it a little confusing.Missing last weeks episode doesn't help my confusion.I can see there is an English/Colonial stitch up plot against the Indian Congress Party but what is the significance of the bangle on the orphan outcast Indian boy's wrist which is of concern to the viceroy of the region?

maybe he gave the bracelet to the child's mother and now realises he has a son. don't know just guessing. i'm in the dark as well. who is the mother?

last episode will probably be very busy tying up all the loose ends.
