Hi Broseph, I'm quite liking that look x
He's chasing Moby Dick?
naughty naughty Sandy....I am in the clean face camp....this hairy trend is 'orible
Whilst surprised he grew one, it looks fine to me.
I hate this "trend" for facial fungus. There are only 3 reasons for that facial gunk and they are:

1. going to a ZZ top convention
2. auditioning for the part of Hagrid or Dumbledore in Harry Potter
3. terrorist.

Whichever one it is, get rid of that AWFUL, dirty, lazy , itchy looking mess. Show off your lovely faces lads... PLUS, it'll take years off you.
janbee
How very dare you.
Facial hair on a male is totally natural. No razor blades in a cave whereas lipstick, rouge, eye liner ,mascara etc. Is that natural on a lady? :-)
*Sniggers at rouge*

I really don't think it's necessary to get nasty about *someone else's choice* about whether they wear a beard or not. I'd hate it if all men looked the same...women also. Its about feeling comfortable in yourself...and if you want a full beard...or a shaved head...it's up to you.
Jan - definitely not dirty, Mr Norton said on his radio show that it's costing a fortune to maintain the beard. He has it professionally trimmed and washed etc!

I've had a Full-set for years,
It is not dirty,
I am not Lazy,
It does not itch nor is it a mess!
If you didn't sit in front of a mirror with your tweezers for hours on end you would probably look similar.
PS...beards require a good amount of upkeep...so they certainly are not dirty and lazy...

Thank you Pasta.
I'm not a big fan of beards and respect the fact that it is a personal choice. That said I must admit that I do put a bit of pressure on the Missus to go for the clean shaved look.
I was married to 2 beardies...not at the same time mind you;-) ...and I always liked their beards. Soft if anything...never itchy.
It makes him look like he should be wearing a green outfit with a pointy hat so it does -puts years on him too.
((green outfit and a pointy hat ) a Gnome ?
retrochic
I thought that,in one of the photos, if he wore a red/white chequered shemagh on his head he would be the image of the late Yassa Arafat.
Don't think it suits him at all.
