It's a problem with AB's server. It sees iPlayer links as akin to Youtube ones and thus tries to embed the video into the thread here (rather than simply providing a link to the BBC website). However, iPlayer content can't be embedded elsewhere, so we simply end up with a blank space where the embedded video should have been.

I've been meaning to report this problem to AB's techies for some time. I'll do it now.

OG...what annoys me about these incidents is that not that they happen at all, but that it is left to the BBC to expose them !

The Beeb comes in for a lot of stick here on AB, albeit from a few numbskulls and empty vessels, but in these circumstances, what would we do without them ?

If this sort of thing happened in Medway, wouldn't it be sensible to suspect that it was and is happening in every other place that G4S manages ?

After all, they are a major player in our criminal system these days.

I will predict what will happen in this case....G4S will appear on the news, ringing their hands in despair....a few heads will roll, and then its back to normal again...until the next time.

These places where our young boys and men are incarcerated seem to attract bullies and thugs like flies around a cowpat.
