Morning both.
What with heat and open windows letting in the traffic noise, I'm finding it impossible to drop back off again. Hate having insufficient shut-eye.
Did minimal yesterday, was hoping to do more today but will have to see. Certainly fridge/freezer well overdue for a defrost.

True, but so is the rate that the food warms up. Hopefully the blue frozen blocks will give the contents a chance to stay frozen.

I have a cool box which keeps the contents frozen providing it's not left in the sun! The rest goes in the fridge.

It was necessary as the door didn't close properly, so you can imagine what it was like the following morning.

I've made an adjustment. It closes properly now!

I only have a "table-top" type fridge so wouldn't have room for anything from the freezer. Besides I'd try to get them both defrosted together. I think I have a cool box somewhere but even that'd be too small I think. Have a couple of insulated shopping bags somewhere. I need a spare freezer to keep stuff while I defrost the main freezer !

The insulated bags should help, with your blue blocks in.

I always try to run the freezer contents down before hand. I make a lot of ready meals, they are in boxes, so act like the blue freezer blocks.

Sunshining & a coastal breeze...Goodly day One n All...just as things get better...a stone chipped tic-tocs windscreen...a rather large hairline fracture appeared later..hope it will not be the larger excess cost on insurance ..it has all been happening since Saturday when the brake pads etc decided to need replacing...eeeeek...the joys of things needing TLC..

Morning wee sis. xxx Poor old tictoc. Your insurance may well cover glass replacement free of charge. It's worth checking. A cracked windscreen is dangerous sweetheart.

Free...!!! Those were the days my friend we thought they'd never end...!! Ah my insurance has excess charges...♡ £10 repair £75 replacement...eeek....HELP..i hope i do not have to phone a friend!!!..
