Radio 2 Presenters Kids
9 Answers
Why are Radio 2 presenters Chris Evans, Vanessa Feltz, and to a lesser extent Jeremy Vine and Anneka Rice, allowed to bang on about their kids on air without being told to stop? Worse, who is encouraging Katie Price to take her kids on Loose Women?

Vines appallingly whining voice, Vanessa Feltz blowing kisses over the radio? appealing to the lowest common denominator and literally Anneka Rice who literally uses the word literally totally wrongly and far far too often GGGGRRRRRR...
I'm always impressed that Ken Bruce on Radio 2 never talks about his home life or children. Even when he's been off on holiday, he never says where he's been, and in many years of listening to him, I've never heard him mention his wife's name. I think he gets the train in to London from the Chilterns every day, but he doesn't ever talk about anything that he's seen or might have happened on the journey. I reckon he's just made up his mind he won't talk about it, and I wish the other presenters would take a leaf out of his book. Oh, and I really wish Jeremy Vine would stop randomly SHOUTING - it's getting worse each time I hear him!
Vine shouts on Eggheads too. He has completely ruined the programme. Dreadful man! He thinks it is the Jeremy Vine show. Always talking and making inane remarks. Even started to sing sometimes!! Mute button quickly.
Have watched Eggheads for years but don't know for how much longer. Still like to answer the questions.

lankeela - // I'd have to add Lisa Tarbuck, her sniggering giggling drives me crazy. //
I am not a frequent evening listener to Radio Two, but when Lisa Tarbuck first started, I did quite like her but ...
over time, someone has obviously told her that her laugh is attractive, which is why she uses it ad nauseum.
Add to that the fact that she is rapidly entering the 'Jimmy Young / Terry Wogan School Of Weird Speech Patterns'.
Those two presenters gradually slipped into a way of using their voices in a way that is not done by anyone else on the planet - ad LT is rapidly starting to do the same.
She should be compelled to listen back to herself weekly to hear how seriously odd her whooping and shrieking voice is becoming, and how horrible her 'sexy(!)' giggle really is.
