Surely there are Not Abers who believe in 'Judge Rinder' as a real Judge. It's what's known as a 'Reality' programme which takes place in a mock-up set as if in a real Court of Law and is filmed and edited to make believe it is all true. The same applies to 'Judge Judy'.
I know he's a Criminal Barrister and a very good one. However, he has now become an Actor and is possibly making better money than he was before, in real law courts.
I can appreciate what you are saying ummmm because my job involved legal work and my spending a considerable amount of time in Court. However, the situations were for real.
The situations in JR are 'for real'.
The Claimant/Respondent are really at loggerheads ans JR sorts it out in an equitable fashion.......exactly as hc4361 states.
It makes for an entertaining TV show, resolves conflict (usually) and stops these sort of cases clogging up the County/Small claims courts.
