I don't see why he shouldn't be allowed to apply, after all Andy Scott-Lee was in it one year and everyone knew he'd been in a boy band previously (even if they weren't a very good one).  At least he was upfront about it, Chico seems to have 'forgotten' to mention his singing career!

I don't like him, I don't think he can sing and hopefully he won't win anyway!
