Does anyone know the ratio of wins to losses for individual eggheads ?
I believe some ( eg. Judith !) lose quite a few .

Jeremy Vine is an intelligent man. I don't know why he plays dumb sometimes. Just to give an Eggy a chance to smirk, I suppose.
I don't watch it often now but watched a bit today. After the 'neuralgia' question where he pretended not to know what it meant, I had to turn off.
At least there is no simpering Daphne or smug CJ.

Its just his whole style of presenting. His line of "If you've got this right the quiz is over" to the Eggheads when even the densest of people know they have got it right is particularly annoyingPlease can we have Dermot Murnaghan back.

That's very true Baldric.I find Tim Vine very funny especially his portayal of Beech the Butler in the Empress of Blandings.

It was a 'great escape' for Jeremy,to do Eggheads.

He could/cannot 'hold his own',in Political debate,as evident in his old,lunchtime radio'slot'...maybe he still has the show..I gave up on it,long time ago .

Agree with Grumpy. Vine is dreadful. Spoilt Eggheads completely. No you are not the only person who wishes him ill!!
"intelligent person"? Certainly not. He cannot even pronounce some common words correctly. Always laughing at his own stupid "jokes".
As you must have gathered, cannot stand the man!
