It was announced at the end of 'Have I got news' last night that Frankie Boyle will be presenting next Friday's show. My OH said you needn't record that one for me. He can't stand him. He's too foul mouthed for his liking.
Who do you refuse to watch and for what reason?
The program has some of the best political satire around today, and is nearly always enjoyable. But I share your dislike of Boyle....nasty, and foul-mouthed.
I agree to a certain extent about Frankie Boyle, but he is very perceptive and clever. He occasionally writes a column in the Guardian and obviously has to curtail the worst excesses of his opinions.
But to answer the question: David Williams - smug, spoiled no-talent hack.
Rob Bryden. Have stopped watching 'Would I lie to you?' because of him. It's all me, me, me endlessly. Look at me, me, me. A shame, as I really enjoy watching David Mitchell and Lee Mack.
Is it likely he would be the same as he was on Mock The Week? It's on at a different time and no doubt any humour that was too near the knuckle would be cut.
He's been on Radio Four's News Quiz a few times recently and he's been fine.
Odd isn't gness - great actors having an off day (for whatever reason) can be a permanent turn-off. I won't watch Anthony Sher since a half-hearted (to be polite) performance at the RSC ruined a great production.
