Good point, Vulcan.

At Wimbledon this year the prize money was raised in order to account for the drop in the pound's worth owing to Brexit. The top players already have more money they can possibly ever spend. Is that why I, on a normal wage, had to pay an eye- watering £8.50 for a glass of Pimm's? :) I think Roger Federer owes me a drink or two ;)

Wimbledon - the men do more work, more people watch their games on TV and yet they get the same prize money as the women.

If civil servants are paid excessively, then yes, we should have the right to know who and why, and to vote in a pay cut and sensible limits.

that sounds staged. Did you notice the bit that says another presenter (guess which sex) earns more than either of them ... but wasn't there for the coverage next day.
