Oh No ! No More The Chase ?

"No more The Chase" is factually incorrect. It returns to ITV1 in four weeks, after it's usual summer break.

If you read this weeks TV Times there is an interview with Bradley Walsh.

On talking about Cash Trapped he says

"I like the idea that contestants can be on there for 2 or 3 months, so viewers at home can get to know them......"

That is exactly what turned viewrs off from the show the first time around!

I must admit that I've never seen it....the TV is never on before 7pm!
I'm sure that Bradley is paid very well for what he does and (don't forget that) each series is recorded over quite a short period.

Because I am such a sad creature of habit and always watch The Chase with my evening meal, while it's "on its holidays" I record one on Challenge every afternoon and watch that!!!! OK it's a repeat but so usually are the normal ITV ones and I never remember who won anyway!

Why do they do this? It's not as if Brad and the Chasers go to the studio every day to record the show, and really need a break.
Why is it replaced with such rubbish anyway? I hope the dreadful Babushka doesn't come back.

Not as good as the Chase but I don't find Cash Trapped to be all that bad.
