Can't the BBC choose people for their talent instead of political correctness?

Why is it PC?

Er, what rubbish DJ?
David Jacobs?
Hello there.
Are you talking about Amol Rajan?
Not even a patch on Mayo. Not funny or entertaining at all
I agree. He's pleasant enough, but he's no Simon Mayo.
Surely it is all a matter of individual taste....he may well have been chosen because he is popular...you may not like him but others probably do...eg lots of people dislike Chris Evans but equally others think he is great..I do!!
i dont think anyone can take the place of the inestimable simon mayo. The one this week seems to be doing "ok" better than people who've stood in in the past
I listened to Mayo once, thought he was dreadful, and didn't go back.

But that's just an opinion. Yours is obviously different.
No Idea. Mayo is switched off immediately in the car or house, surely they haven't found one worse.
FWIW I also cannot stand Simon Mayo.
All a matter of personal taste, as I would never say Mr Mayo was no good
Who had the evening slot before Simon Mayo? Can you remember?
wasnt it chris evans?
It was someone I liked, definitely not Chris Evans. It must have been before Chris Evans...

jonnie walker
I thought it might be Johnnie Walker. his name was in the back of my mind. Thank you, Bedknobs.
...and before him it was John Dunn.
I find him a little bland, but that has nothing to do with his ethnicity.
