I've been meaning to come on here and comment on radio presenters in general on Radio 2 lately - seems that all they can do is ask people which motorway they are stuck on and what the kids are having for tea. Lisa Tarbuck with her stupid voice sounds like a female version of that carry on film actor - Sarah Fox with her incessant rambling nineteen to the dozen in that dreadful accent and the one taking over from Ken Bruce who plays the weird music he likes and nothing anyone can understand. Problem is my van radio is stuck on Radio 2 so its listen or turn off. Only thing worth listening to is Steve Wright and the travel news.

I have opined before that Lisa Tarbuck is well on her way to joining Jimmy Young and Terry Wogan - both people who spoke with voices so peculiar in pitch and intonation that they sounded like English was their second language, their first being Klingon.

I don't mind Simon Mayo. I quite like Radcliffe and Maconie on Radio 6, but my favourite programme of the week by a big margin is Cerys on Radio 6 on Sunday mornings, which someone on here introduced me to.

Mayo is on on my drive home from work. I have to turn him off. Can't bear him. I haven't really listened to the stand-in, but perhaps I should.

this same rubbish DJ is now filling in for Chris Evans! IMHO he's not even good enough for my local hospital radio station. There are so many excellent presenters not getting a chance because of stupid PC decisions.
